Alpkäserei Prasüra

Description

On the Präsura alp, the finest alpine cheese is produced by hand from untreated alpine milk using traditional methods. On the hike to the alp you will learn many interesting facts about alpine life in Val Müstair and the cheesemaker will be happy to show you the old craft. After a meal on the alpine pastures, you head back down into the valley.

Meeting point: Sta. Maria, bus stop "cumün"/ Duration: 07:20 - 16:25 (pure hiking time approx. 2.5h) / Bring along: Weatherproof clothing, good shoes, snacks.

To obtain the service, print out the booking confirmation and hand it in to the guide on site. If the tour does not take place, you will be contacted by the Val Müstair Guest Information by 5.00 p.m. the evening before.
